Tidal Rave Hoodie

The Tidal Rave Hoodie started with something as simple as a name.

My mum actually came up with “Tidal Rave,” and as soon as she said it, something clicked. I immediately pictured two completely different worlds coming together — surf culture and music.

That led to the idea of turning a surfboard into a DJ deck: a surfer riding through a wave while mixing music at the same time. It sounded slightly crazy, but that was exactly why I wanted to make it. I wanted a Two Tides design that felt genuinely different from the usual surf graphics you see everywhere.

The finished artwork combines crashing waves, a tropical sunset, bold neon colors and rave-inspired energy, with the surfboard DJ deck at the centre of it all.

For me, Tidal Rave represents that feeling when you’re completely lost in something you love — whether that’s being in the ocean, listening to music, surfing or being in the middle of a crowd when the right track comes on.

And I love that the whole thing started from my mum randomly coming up with two words:

Tidal Rave.

From a name → to an idea → to a Two Tides collection.
